10th General Assembly of NeurotechEU Hosted by Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche

The NeurotechEU alliance held the 10th General Assembly of the European University of Brain and Technology in Elche, hosted by Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche (UMH). The event brought together partners for a week of collaboration and strategic planning. During the assembly, the alliance officially celebrated the inclusion of Medizinische Universität Innsbruck (Medical University of Innsbruck) as its newest partner, further strengthening the network with their expertise in neuroscience, medicine, and clinical innovation.

Participants reviewed significant achievements and projects developed over the past six months:

• Joint Master’s Program: Led by Wim Scheenen.
• Neuricoo Partner Portal: Established by Can Yücesoy and colleagues.
• The Platform for Grants and Tenders: Established by Verena Schropp and colleagues.

In the Hackathon competition, Nusretalp SEVEN was a member of the winning team, taking first place with their project titled Brainrot. Additionally, Selim Yildirim was in the team that secured the second place.

The communication for the event was managed by the team led by Emma Hägg and Andra Elena van der Burg, and in particular Ana-Maria Isac. The Student Council members, particularly co-leads Taha Akkülah and İlayda Yenen, were also recognized for their innovative contributions to the alliance.
