NeurotechEU Doctoral Network: A European Network Empowering the Next Generation of Interdisciplinary Researchers

We are pleased to invite doctoral researchers to apply for the NeurotechEU Doctoral Network, a Europe-wide initiative that connects doctoral researchers in neurotechnology across the NeurotechEU Alliance. The network is designed to complement existing doctoral programmes by providing motivated doctoral researchers with an international platform for collaboration, skills development, and career exploration.

Through a combination of online activities and at least one annual on-site meeting, participants engage in specialized workshops, courses, and peer-to-peer exchanges within academia and the broader neurotechnology ecosystem. By bringing together early-career researchers from diverse institutions and disciplines, the NeurotechEU Doctoral Network fosters long-term collaborations and supports participants in developing a broader European perspective on research and career opportunities.

Eligibility and Application Process

Participation is open to doctoral students who have successfully completed their first year of PhD studies (2 semesters). A maximum of five doctoral students will be selected by the local committee at Boğaziçi University.

Applicants are required to submit a single ZIP file containing the following documents:

• A motivation letter
• Curriculum Vitae (including the contact details of two referees)
• Academic transcript

Applications should be sent to Prof. Dr. Bora Garipcan at bora.garipcan@bogazici.edu.tr no later than 19 June, 17:00.

The selected candidates will be announced on 22 June.
