What is NeurotechEU?

NeurotechEU is a consortium of eight prestigious European universities—Radboud University, Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, Karolinska Institutet, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Boğaziçi University, Universitatea de Medicină și Farmacie “Iuliu Hațieganu” din Cluj-Napoca, Université de Lille, and Reykjavik University—along with more than 250 partners from industry, academia, and civil society. Their shared mission is to establish an innovative, trans-European network dedicated to advancing brain research and technology.

This excellence network serves as a prime platform for offering interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral, and customized education for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students across Europe. Additionally, it fosters lifelong learning across all segments of society. By doing so, it aims to enhance Europe's global standing in education, research, economy, and social development.

With a vision extending to 2040, NeurotechEU aspires to become both the driving force behind neuroscience advancements and a hub for groundbreaking technological innovations.
